WHERE THE CALIPHATE VIOLENTLY COLLAPSED. The fall of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) was arduous, bloody, and an unwanted episode of additional devastation compounding Iraq’s long history of war and conflict. Mosul, the capital of ISIS’ self-declared caliphate, suffered the worst as jihadis abused the city and sabotaged civil infrastructure as coalition forces all but leveled it to the ground with airstrikes.

THE GOSPEL THAT REBUILDS, REPAIRS, AND RESTORES. We are confident Jesus, as King, will bring all things into restored order. Until then, we are committed to providing verbal and tangible declarations of “this Gospel of the Kingdom” (Matthew 24:14).

GROWTH AND DUPLICATION. In 2019-2020, FAI Relief will launch an infrastructure initiative in Mosul based on work we’ve done in nearby cities and regions over the last several years. Our first focus initiative will repair and rebuild schools across Mosul, getting kids back in class, a healthier life rhythm, and reclaiming the education the caliphate stole from them.
